Northpoint Marina

North Point Marina is located in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, on Lake Michigan midway between Chicago and Milwaukee. You’ll reach our slip easily by car via I-94 or US 41 to IL 173 east.

From Wisconsin: Take I-94 south to the Russell Road exit (Illinois/Wisconsin state line). Follow Russell Road east to Sheridan Road. Turn right and follow Sheridan Road south to 7th Street (the first stoplight). Turn left and follow 7th Street east to the lakefront.

From Chicago: Take I-294 north to the Rosecrans Road exit (IL 173). Follow Rosecrans Road east to Sheridan Road. Turn left and follow Sheridan Road north to 7th Street (the second stoplight). Turn right and follow 7th Street east to the lakefront.

Our dive boats the 34' catamaran, the R/V Aquatica, and our 27' Sportcraft the Wisconsin Clipper offers you the fastest and most comfortable rides to and from the dive sites. As we limit our number of divers to six, good visibility is practically assured. Fully equipped with dive safety equipment and a knowledgeable staff of diving professionals, our only aim is to insure your comfort, safety, and pleasure.

The R/V Aquatica is located in Burnham Harbor, which is situated on the Museum Campus. The Campus is home to the Field Museum, the Shedd Aquarium, the Adler Planetarium, and within walking distance of Chicago's downtown area so there is plenty of parking and many opportunities to explore on land. The Wisconsin Clipper is located in Northpoint Marina in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois and it is only a 20-minute ride to the wreck of the SS Wisconsin.
